I am a research faculty at Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, USA. I mostly work on problems related to deep learning. I have a strong background in leveraging AI to analyze hate speech, misinformation, and various aspects of social media content. I got my master's degree from the Department of Computer Science, Virginia Tech. I was a visiting scholar at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia in 2019 where I worked on designing an AI predictive model for the early detection of Alzheimer's disease. I worked with CERN, Switzerland in collaboration with UNITAR and Intel in 2020.
My research areas revolve around machine learning and deep learning with a primary focus on data science for health care, computer vision, and Natural Language Processing.
I am also a member of the Sanghani Center for Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics, Virginia Tech.
